TOOL POUCHES

When it come to carrying your tools there are as many opinions and different ideas then there are for the type of report software or radon monitor you use.

Today we are just focusing on tool pouches that you carry with you during the inspection. We realize that there are tool vests, cargo and tactical pants but for this Pick of the week we are just looking at tool pouches.

1.Frist off is the minimalist this is a small pouch that you can clip to your pant waist or belt and it has room for just the bare necessities.  Light weight and does not get in the way.  May require more trip to your main tool bag or vehicle.

2. Second is a medium sized tool pouch this usually attaches to a tool belt and will have more pockets and space to hold most of the essential gear and a few items that are infrequently used. A little more bulky but still allows for sufficient movement and is not overly heavy.

3. Finally is the large or multiple tool pouches, this approach is to try and carry the majority of your tools with you at all times. The idea is to reduce trips to the tool bag or vehicle and thus shorten the inspection time.  The drawbacks are it is heavier and bulky so you run the risk of damaging personal property and may have to remove your belt to gain access to tight spaces.  Then there is the added weight which overtime can result in fatigue.
